ABOUT US

Brightsource Recruitment were founded in 2014 by Charlie Allen.  Charlie has over fifteen years' experience in headhunting and executive search and has worked for privately owned, start-up and private equity backed recruitment businesses.  He began his career at Daniel Williams Consultancy in the retail buying and commercial team before taking the opportunity to establish a digital & e-commerce function for the business.  He then left to launch the digital & e-commerce division at Exsurgo before joining specialist recruiter Just Digital where he worked as Divisional Director.
Charlie has an extensive network of contacts in the e-commerce & digital space thanks to his longevity in the market.  He has a strong understanding of the complexities and subtleties of the e-commerce & digital job landscape coupled with a pro-active approach to candidate attraction and engagement.  He prides himself on providing a genuinely consultative service and his ability to establish strong, long-lasting relationships with people and understand their motivations and what drives them.
